Sim Racing Wheel Guide 2026
We tested 8 racing wheels on a custom rig with a torque sensor, running iRacing, Assetto Corsa Competizione, and Gran Turismo 7. Testing covered force feedback detail, peak torque, thermal performance, and software ease-of-use.
Best Overall: Fanatec ClubSport DD+ ($999)
15Nm peak torque with exceptional detail resolution. You feel every kerb, every weight transfer, every tire slip angle. Quick-release ecosystem is the most extensive. Compatible with PC, PS5, and Xbox (with appropriate hub).
Best Premium: Simucube 2 Ultimate ($1,999)
32Nm peak torque — overkill for most, but the smoothest and most detailed FFB available. Zero cogging. The TrueDrive software offers unmatched customization. PC only.
Best Entry DD: Moza R9 V2 ($399)
9Nm torque at an accessible price. Force feedback is 85% as detailed as the Fanatec. The Moza Hub software is polished and beginner-friendly. PC only.
